To clarify, we do not process exchanges we have a return/repurchase process. 


To process a return, first know what items are eligible. Items need to be unwashed and with the original tags/packaging.  If you purchased a product as part of a gift set, the entire gift set must be returned. Specific promotional items marked Final Sale cannot be returned. All returns require a return merchandise authorization (RMA) and requests need to be within 30 days of when the original order was received. A prepaid return label can be provided for returns. Please note if you choose to use the provided label, $5 will be deducted from your credit. Original shipping costs will not be refunded. Please note Burt’s Bees Baby does not process exchanges. 

Requesting an RMA with an account: 

  • Log into your customer account
  • Go to "my orders" 
  • Click "view order" for the order you wish to request an RMA
  • Click "returns" 
  • Fill out the information for the RMA
  • Click "submit" 

Requesting an RMA with guest checkout: 

  • Go to Orders & Returns 
  • Enter order ID, billing last name and either the billing email or billing zip code
  • Click "continue" 
  • Click "returns" 
  • Fill out the information for the RMA
  • Click "submit"
